Simple cotton maxi skirts! Love ‘em! 

We just returned from our week long trip to Las Vegas to celebrate my 30th Birthday! (Yes, 30) Although my birthday was in March, we were able to organize a trip with close friends and family!

While in Vegas, I managed to fit a little shopping in!

I don’t know what my fascination with skulls has been about lately, but I found this tank and fell in Love! I have been looking for a fun & bright colored clutch, which I also found in Vegas!

We are headed back to Vegas in seven more weeks, and then Cabo shortly after that! I hope to get some fun touristy pics then!

Whatcha Doin?

Hello! Have you met my friend, Mr. Procrastination? If not, let me introduce you!

Where in the heck has time gone? It’s been a few weeks, yes.. I know this. Let’s see. What have I been up to?

Um, I had the flu. And then it turned into a sinus infection. (I need sinus surgery too, joy!) That was fun. I am still trying to figure out the point of why I opted to get that flu shot when the doctor suggested it? I think that will always be an unanswered question. (If you have an answer, please share!) 

Oh, I bought a new camera! Finally! I am still trying to figure out how to use the thing! It’s the Canon Rebel T3i. We wanted something that was going to be a bit more entry level. I think we made a great choice!

I went to the firing range. That was a blast! My first time shooting a 9mm. It was Amazing!

I’d like to say that I’m still a girlie girl, with my pink ear muffs and green polish!

And, last weekend we went up into the woods with my Father in law and I was finally able to shoot my shotgun! (Among some others)

I turned 30. We will keep this one simple.

I suppose this is the point where your body starts to break down, because I also found out that I need glasses! So, I got a pair of those too! 

I got a new tattoo, on my arm. It’s my name in Japanese. 

I started the Insanity Workout. Crazy, right? Actually, I am really loving it! I needed to make a decision to get healthy! After two weeks, not only have I been able to increase my flexibility and stamina, I have lost a total of almost 7 inches off of my body and have toned up! It’s a 60 day program so I have a ways to go still! (I did start an Insanity blog, so if you are interested in following, send me a message! I’d be more that happy to share.)

Oh, and now, we are headed to Vegas for the rest of the week! Very excited for this! We have a pretty large group of us heading down there! I’m also looking forward to seeing my Brother too! He just relocated to San Fran, from Minneapolis, and it’s been almost a year since I have last seen him!

Whew! That sure was a lot to take it! Hopefully I kept your attention long enough to have read it all!
